Ana has qualified for the Sony Ericsson Championships in Madrid. With 2,972 points, she is the fourth player to be confirmed for the season-ending event and joins Justine Henin, Jelena Jankovic and Svetlana Kuznetsova.

“I’m delighted,” said the 19-year-old, who has never before competed in the Championships. “At the start of the season I made this my No.1 goal, so to achieve it is very satisfying.
